Your Wedding Is Not Just Another Booking
Your wedding day is made of hundreds of small details, and how your guests get from the hotel to the ceremony is one of the ones that matters most. A wedding guest shuttle keeps everyone together, on time and relaxed, so the only thing your guests need to think about is celebrating with you.
In more than 20 years, Peak Limo has provided transportation for thousands of weddings. Some companies see a wedding as one more booking on the calendar but we see it for what it is, a very special day with a lot of details that deserve care. Here is a look at how we plan it.
Why Wedding Guest Shuttles Make the Day Easier
Guest shuttles have become the heart of the wedding work we do, and for good reason:
- Everyone arrives together: Guests are seated before the ceremony starts, not circling the parking lot.
- No parking stress: Many venues have limited parking, and a shuttle takes the pressure off the property and your guests.
- Out-of-town guests are taken care of: No one has to find an unfamiliar venue on country roads or in Uptown traffic.
- A safe ride home: After the last dance, your guests can celebrate without worrying about the drive back to the hotel.
Most couples book a mini bus for their guests, an executive van for the wedding party, and a luxury sedan or SUV for their getaway car. Every quote is custom to your day, and even better, gratuity and all fees are included at the time of booking.
Behind the Scenes: How We Plan Your Wedding Transportation
We look at your venue before your wedding day
Long before your wedding day, your Peak wedding coordinator examines your venue and pick up locations, with our vehicle sizes in mind. We look closely at the details most people never think about, from height clearances and low-hanging tree lines to tight turns, narrow drives and soft ground after a rain. Knowing exactly how our buses and vans will move on the property means your guests step on and off safely, and the venue you fell in love with stays just as beautiful as the day you chose it. Venue managers often thank us for taking the time, because not every transportation company does. It is one of the many quiet ways we make sure you never have to wonder whether your transportation is handled. We’ve got you.
Your coordinator stays with you the whole way
From the moment you book, your Peak wedding coordinator becomes part of your planning team. They work directly with you or your wedding planner in the months and weeks leading up to the big day, and when details change, as they always do, your coordinator updates the plan so you never have to chase anyone down. As the day gets closer, every pickup, time and address is reconfirmed, down to the last guest shuttle.
Your chauffeur knows the plan before the day begins
Your chauffeur arrives already knowing your day. Your chauffeur has your full itinerary and has been briefed on the specifics of your booking, from who rides where to the moments that matter most to you. For more involved weddings, we also provide a printed timeline and property maps, so every stop is mapped out ahead of time. During the week of the wedding, your coordinator connects with your chauffeur to walk through the details and answer any questions. When your chauffeur pulls up, they are not learning your day for the first time. They are ready to help you and your guests enjoy it!
On the Wedding Day
Ask almost any bride what worries her most on her wedding day, and guests arriving late is near the top of the list. No one wants the music to start while seats are still empty. We plan every minute of your transportation so that does not happen to you.
Our chauffeurs arrive at least 15 minutes early, parked in position and ready to welcome your guests on board. They check in with your planner the moment they arrive, and your day-of contact receives automated text messages when the vehicle is on the way and again when it is on location, so no one is left wondering. While you are putting on the finishing touches, your guests are already on their way. Couples tell us the same two things in their reviews: our communication is wonderful, and our chauffeurs are some of the kindest people they met all day.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far ahead should we book wedding transportation?
We recommend booking at least six months ahead, especially for spring (April/May) and fall weekends (Sept/Oct), when dates fill quickly.
Do you work with our venue?
We work with almost every wedding venue in the Charlotte area. If we have not been to yours, we will visit before your wedding to plan the route and loading areas.
Is gratuity included?
Yes. Every Peak wedding quote includes gratuity and all fees, so there is nothing extra to settle on your wedding day.
After more than 20 years and thousands of weddings, we know exactly what it takes to get every guest where they need to be, on time and with a smile. We have walked the venues, planned the timelines and handled the surprises, from last-minute changes to a missing bouquet. So when it comes to transportation, you can cross it off your list and never give it another thought. Whenever you are ready, we would love to hear all about your big day. It would be an honor to be a small part of it, and to celebrate right alongside you.
